Introduction & Overview

UEIC is now seeking passionate and dedicated National Service Personnel (NSP) to serve as executives across eight key portfolios. These roles are specifically designed for personnel at the Centre and provide a unique opportunity to enhance leadership skills, contribute to the growth of the organization, and build a stronger professional profile. Serving in an executive role at UEIC allows you to gain hands-on experience while significantly boosting your CV and personal brand. These positions are open to all National Service Personnel at the Centre, regardless of gender.

What will be my role?

1. Administrative Assistant/President

  • Serve as the Treasurer and Finance Controller, overseeing minor financial activities and budget management.
  • Assist with organizing internal events and ensure smooth communication across teams.
  • Lead overall operations and maintain strategic focus.

2. Deputy Administrative Assistant/Vice President/Secretary

  • Serve as the Secretary and assist in Finance Control along with the President.
  • Coordinate scheduling for company tours and industrial relations, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made.
  • Support the President in managing administrative functions and internal communications.

3. Public Relations Officer

  • Facilitator & Industrial Relations Manager: Responsible for bringing in facilitators and trainers for sessions.
  • Manage external relations with other companies, institutions, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all industrial relations activities and partnerships are maintained effectively.

4. Marketing & Communications Specialist

  • Oversee the updating of social media and website content, ensuring that the training programs, events, and activities are consistently communicated.
  • Develop marketing strategies for training sessions and workshops, promoting them on all platforms.
  • Share training materials, updates, and announcements on the management page and social media.

5. Event Planning Coordinator/Manager

  • Training Room & Facility Manager: Ensure the training center and rooms are properly prepared before sessions, including equipment, seating, and materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, ensuring all facilities are up to standard.
  • Oversee the organization and execution of events, ensuring seamless operation.

6. Digital Content Strategist

  • Lead the creation and management of training content on social media and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with other teams to post updates and new training content on the website and social media.
  • Maintain content calendars and manage all digital assets.

7. Research & Insights Analyst

  • Internal Auditor: Conduct audits on internal processes and organizational activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide insights and analysis on training effectiveness, visitor feedback, and other relevant metrics.
  • Support decision-making through research and performance tracking.

8. Logistics & Procurement Specialist (New Portfolio)

  • Oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment needed for the training center and events.
  • Manage logistics for the acquisition of items for the center and ensure that all necessary resources are available.
  • Handle all purchasing-related activities and ensure that funds are used effectively.
