The UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Center recently hosted a dynamic entrepreneurship workshop aimed at equipping young entrepreneurs with the essential tools and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape. The event, coordinated by the center’s administrator, Twum O. Obed, attracted over 27 young entrepreneurs and students from UPSA.

The workshop, led by Emil (Aurehøj) Persson, Co-founder of InspiNest Foundation and Green Investments Ghana in Sunyani, Ghana, and Operations Manager & Board Member of SDG World in Copenhagen, Denmark, delved into various critical aspects of entrepreneurship. Emil brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, enriching the sessions with practical insights and real-world examples.

Emil touched upon several key areas during the workshop, including cultivating an innovative mindset, transforming ideas into viable businesses, and offering a fresh perspective on entrepreneurship in Ghana. He outlined four essential tools for fostering innovation and encouraged participants to embrace creativity and adaptability in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

Throughout the workshop, participants were inspired by Emil’s passion and dedication, gaining valuable insights into the entrepreneurial journey. From idea conception to business execution, Emil provided actionable strategies and guidance, empowering attendees to turn their dreams into reality.

The event also featured engaging workshops, panel discussions, and a pitch competition, providing participants with ample opportunities to learn, network, and collaborate with like-minded individuals. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and forging meaningful connections.

Overall, the entrepreneurship workshop was a resounding success, leaving participants feeling inspired, motivated, and better equipped to pursue their entrepreneurial goals. Thanks to Emil’s invaluable contributions and the collaborative efforts of the UPSA Enterprise and Innovation Center, the event set the stage for future innovation and growth in Ghana’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
